Chalet Caro is an impressive 8 person chalet, conveniently located just 8 minutes walk to the centre of Meribel and access to its ski slopes. This stylish ski chalet is perfect for those seeking warm and contemporary accommodation in a fantastic location.
This unique ski chalet was completed in 2017, and is expertly arranged over three floors. Wiith modern chic furniture which blends with traditional alpine wood typical of Savoyard chalets. Chalet Caro sleeps eight people in four twin or double bedrooms, all with en suite shower/bath rooms.
Like many chalets in the Alps Chalet Caro is built into the side of the hill, with the top floor being where the main entrance is at road level. Entering the chalet through the front door on that top floor it takes you through the welcoming hallway with its vaulted ceiling, into the wonderful sitting/cinema room with views of the mountains. There is a large seating area with comfy L-shaped sofas in front of the log fire and home cinema system, providing the ideal setting in which to relax after a day on the slopes.
On this top floor there is also the boot/ski room with heated boot and glove warmers, a guest toilet and access to the garage.
The elegantly designed staircase leads to the middle floor, and the ultra modern Bulthaup designer kitchen and dining area. This is a striking open plan room with two double floor-to-ceiling sliding doors leading guests to the south facing terrace with hot tub and views toward the Meribel town centre, the mountains beyond and the ski slopes that beckon you for the day.
The kitchen looks over the large dining table which seats 12 people comfortably, and can be split into 2 separate tables each for 6 people. This is an ideal space for entertaining guests and enjoying stories of the days skiing, or making plans for the next day. This room also has a small coffee table/cosy area, and a second TV which is connected to both English and French TV channels.
This middle floor also contains the utility room, and the first of the 4 double/twin bedrooms with its small balcony, and en suite bathroom with double basins, toilet and walk in shower.
All bedrooms can be made up as twin or king size double beds, three with en-suite shower rooms and one with an en-suite bathroom.
The lower floor is home to the other three bedrooms. There is one double/twin bedroom with a small terrace leading to the landscaped garden. This room has an en suite bathroom with double basins, toilet and luxury bath. The other two bedrooms on this floor also have en suite bathrooms, both with showers and toilets. One has a separate loo, and direct access to the garden.
