Guest Information

Some additional information about the chalet for you

During the winter we normally take bookings from Sunday to Sunday, though this can be flexible, and bespoke quotes for shorter or longer stay options will also be considered upon request

Please note that it is advisable to travel with snow chains in your car if you are driving to the 3 Vallees in the winter, as you may be required by the local traffic police to use them

Please also note that the internal stairs are steep and open tread, and there is a stream in the garden as well as a hot tub terrace, so we do not advise having young children in the chalet

As is common in mountain resorts, chalets can be close together. Chalet Caro is a detached chalet, standing in its own private garden, with a small stream running down one side of it . Guests with young children should be aware of the stream.

Chalet Caro is accessed from a fairly quiet road to the east, which is bounded by other chalets on both sides.

To the north of Chalet Caro, there is a chalet approximately 15 metres away.
To the west there is another chalet, approximately 6 metres away, between Chalet Caro and the main road leading to the town centre.

To the south, beyond the stream that runs through the garden, the are no buildings in close proximity This allows for unobstructed views from the chalet sun terrace, up the valley towards the slopes of Mottaret and beyond.

Looking to the south from the chalet, and immediately beyond the stream, there is a small open air car park. This is predominantly used as longer term storeage by the local car mechanic. During the winter these cars are often hidden under snow, but in the summer they can be more visible.
